Update
Lived in Grenoble now for 14 months and another Autumn is here and the first snows fell in the mountains around us last week.
Yesterday we drove up to Chamrousse 1750 and then hiked to the top of Croix de Chamrousse (2250m) to get our first of the season. The weather was mild and then snow of earlier in the week had mostly melted but there were large pockets of snow so so the kids could make a snowman and we all could have a snowball fight.
